Marriage Course is back!
Whether you've been married for a few months or many decades, whether your relationship feels strong or you're finding some areas more challenging, the Marriage Course offers a valuable opportunity to invest in your relationship.
Using the well-known Marriage Course developed by Nicky and Sila Lee, couples explore topics such as communication, conflict resolution, forgiveness, intimacy, understanding each other's needs etc.
Each evening begins with a delicious two-course meal (Charcuterie board anyone?) in a candlelit setting, thoughtfully prepared by our team to create a special date-night atmosphere. All discussions are private and take place only between you and your spouse, there is never any requirement to share with others.
Previous participants said:
"The thought-provoking sessions have given us such a rewarding experience."
"The structure made for a lovely date night each week."
"We have managed to reconnect again."
"We've really enjoyed the course and it feels like it has made us closer together."
"You gave us the space and the prompts to talk in-depth about our marriage in a way that is fun and meaningful."
Many couples have found that the course helped them reconnect and communicate more openly. It creates space for conversations that can easily be missed in the busyness of life, as well as topics we may tend to avoid or ones that have never been considered before.
The sessions explore how our backgrounds, personalities and experiences shape our relationships. Many participants are surprised by what they discover, not only about their partner, but also about themselves.
As a church, we recognise that not everyone is married, and we value and celebrate every person and every stage of life. This course is one of the ways we seek to support and encourage married couples within our church family.
The next Marriage Course begins on Monday 14th September 2026. We'd love to welcome you.
